Future Lawyers For Justice Scholarship

Our hope is to positively impact a great people as possible and enrich their lives in meaningful ways.

Education is a critical part of the growth and development of every generation. It has the ability to launch bright and ambitious individuals to further their own goals and cement their place in society. With this in mind, we are excited to announce our Future Lawyers For Justice Scholarship. The scholarship recipient will be a deserving and distinguished student who is dedicated to entering a legal career. The award is designed for students who want to practice law to ensure justice and provide aid to underserved clients, such as those who have endured life-changing injuries or individuals looking to better their lives despite past mistakes. 

The Future Lawyers For Justice Scholarship will be given to a notable student who has demonstrated tenacity in the pursuit of their studies. The recipient should have a strong GPA and experience as an active leader within their community. They should be able to convey their passion for the field of law and the contributions they hope to give to the world as aspiring legal professionals. We are excited to award this scholarship to an esteemed student who is motivated to reach for their goals and blaze an exciting path towards their future. 

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • This scholarship is open to any student who is currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or professional program in the United States. This includes accredited community college students as well as high school seniors and students who possess a GED who have been accepted to or are enrolled in an accredited program.
  • The scholarship applicant must be dedicated to pursuing a career which addresses injustice in law and be able to demonstrate this commitment in their essay.
  • All eligible candidates must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 or above.

 

Essay Prompt & Questions

Respond to the following prompt and questions in an essay of 1,000 words or less:

  • What is one area of injustice within the law that you are most passionate about and why?
  • Describe a project related to the law that you worked on and the results you were able to achieve.
  • What experience do you have that makes you the most qualified to be a scholarship recipient?

 

Required Application Materials

  • Current resume in PDF format;
  • Essay: 800-word minimum and 1,000-word maximum. Visual creativity encouraged; and
  • Current unofficial transcript.

 

Submission Deadline: May 31, 2025

All application materials must be submitted by this date

Award Announcement: July 2025

Scholarship Amount: $1,000
